Spicy Wasted Liqueur
Ingredients
- 20-30 Ends and Tips of Serrano peppers 
- 25-30 Ends and Tips of Fresno peppers 
- 20-30 Ends and Tips of Jalapeno peppers 
- 20-30 Stems and seeds of Arbol Chilis 
- 2 grated cinnamon sticks, whole 
- 3 teaspoons of black peppercorns, whole 
- 1 teaspoon of whole coriander seeds 
- 1 cup of water 
- 1 cup of honey 
- 1 Lemon, zested 
- 4 cups of high proof neutral grain spirit 
Recipe
- Boil water and honey together to make a consistent liquid. 
- Add the cinnamon sticks, black peppercorns, lemon zest, arbol chilis, fresno, serrano, and jalapeno peppers to the mixture and bring to a boil. Let boil for 5-6 minutes. 
- Remove from heat and cover with lid for 1 hour. Allow time to steep. 
- Strain out solids with mesh strainer or cheesecloth. 
- Place mixture into a glass jar and add all 4 cups of vodka. Let sit for 7 days before serving. 
Shelf life – 2-3 months depending on temperature & climate
